Embracing Rest
A gentle therapeutic yoga practice to help you soften tension and make deep rest possible.
Rest is not something we simply know how to do. For many of us, it is something we need to learn.
Embracing Rest is a gentle Hatha Yoga class designed to help your body and nervous system shift out of "doing mode" and into a place where deep rest becomes possible. Through gentle yoga, somatic movement, pranayama (breathing practices) and deep relaxation, you'll gradually soften unnecessary tension and discover that rest is not something you have to earn, but an essential part of feeling well.
This class is especially supportive if you're feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, living with chronic stress, pain or fatigue, or simply longing for a gentler pace. The movement acts as a bridge, helping your body settle so that moments of stillness become more accessible and restorative.
Classes are intentionally small (maximum 8 participants), creating a welcoming space where every practice can be adapted to your energy, your body and what you need on that particular day.
Over time, you'll build a different relationship with rest. One rooted not in guilt or productivity, but in trust—trust that your body knows how to soften, recover and regain its natural balance when given the opportunity.
