Postpartum Yoga
Supporting you through the early days of motherhood.
"There is no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one"
Congratulations! Your baby is here, and so is a brand-new chapter of life. Alongside moments of joy and wonder often come exhaustion, healing, uncertainty and a body that no longer feels quite familiar.
Postpartum Yoga offers a welcoming space to reconnect with yourself while caring for your baby. Through yoga, mindful movement, breathwork, relaxation and community, you'll gently support your body's recovery after birth, rebuild confidence in movement and create moments of calm in the beautiful chaos of early motherhood.
Although the class focuses primarily on you and your wellbeing, babies are warmly welcome. When little ones are present, we begin with a short bonding practice or baby massage before turning our attention to mum's practice. You're welcome exactly as your day unfolds—even if that includes feeding, soothing your baby, changing nappies or simply taking a moment to breathe. You don't have to perform motherhood here.
Just as importantly, you'll meet other mothers walking a similar path. Especially in an international city like Brussels, where family is often far away, community can become part of your village.
Classes are suitable from six weeks after birth (eight weeks following a caesarean birth), with your healthcare provider's approval. Babies are welcome until they become confidently mobile.
